To keep pace with the new developments in Science, Laboratory Design and Engineering, PF&F designed a new range of ‘Empirical’ Fume Cupboards.
The intention was to create the most innovative Fume Cupboard design available in the marketplace, with the unit’s aesthetics matched by excellent performance.
The performance objective at the design stage was to obtain the highest levels of containment ever achieved, via the aerodynamic profiles on the side aerofoils, aerofoil cill, sash handle and baffle configuration.
The ‘Empirical’ range is fully compliant with BS 7258 : Parts 1 – 4 : 1994 and has been Type Tested in PF&F’s factory test facility and site SF6 Containment Tested on various installations, all of which have resulted in exceptional readings being achieved.
