The Walk-In and Step-In ranges are designed for larger pieces of laboratory equipment or floor standing units or rigs that may be required within a Fume Cupboard environment.
Walk-In and Step-In Fume Cupboards are available in either the ‘Empirical’ or ‘Eclat’ range aerofoil profiles.
The Walk-In and Step-In Fume Cupboards can offer the flexibility of being used as a Bench Mounted Fume Cupboard in the future, achieved by either a wheel in trolley unit or an adjustable removable worktop mounted onto side brackets.
Various Walk-In and Step-In Fume Cupboards have been Type Tested and site SF6 Containment Tested, which have also resulted in excellent readings being achieved.
Although BS 7258 : Parts 1 – 4 : 1994 is not relevant to Walk-In and Step-In Fume Cupboard design, the fundamental principles for design and safety are incorporated in the Fume Cupboard construction.
