University of Bristol Life Sciences - Major Fume Cupboard and Microbiological Safety Cabinet contract is awarded to PF and F Ltd.
PF & F Ltd are pleased to announce that they have been awarded the contract from NG Bailey for Fume Cupboards required on the University of Bristol, Life Sciences Laboratories project.
A total of twenty five Fume Cupboards, seven Class II microbiological safety cabinets and four vertical laminar flow cabinets are to be designed and supplied to the University. The majority of the Cupboards are 1500mm wide, and features include multiple mechanical services connections, 4 switched electrical outlets, cast epoxy work surfaces and automatic sash closers. Four (4) cabinets will be produced with single piece stainless steel chambers for radioisotope work.
Additionally, the Fume Cupboards will have variable air volume (VAV) controls linked to a common extract system, all designed to help reduce energy costs.
Once delivered, PF & F Ltd will be fully involved in the installation of the Fume Cupboards across three floors of the building, and the subsequent commissioning and testing, before final handover to the customer.
